Promo for Irvine new town - typically aimed at a North American audience - remember we need Inward Investment the key industrial policy for four post war decades.
In trying hard, too hard, to be relaxed, cool and contemporary it does avoid classic promo film clichés - but it also manages to avoid most of the New Town of Irvine - avoids Irvine’s modern housing and avoids meeting any of the displaced Glaswegians that populated the place by this time.
