Centres around the campaign against the sale of some new housing by Glasgow Corporation. Notable are the political demands for integrated development involving the people and including community facilities.

Dramatised sequences and bulk of film taken 1956. Members of the Cine Group took parts in the film. Bill MacGregor and brother, Hugh Dalton. Una Bukelis, wife of Charlie, plays mother of dead child who puts flowers on grave.
