After the Second World War all over the Britain Isles towns and cities prepared plans to tackle the legacy of unplanned expansion since the industrial revolution. The film features Frank Mears the leading planning practitioner’s plans for Greenock. Sets out the value of town planning and the priorities for rebuilding in the new Welfare State.
